Drain Excavation, Relining & Root Removal

Along with our drain unblocking and drain jetting services, 24-7 Drains also offer drain excavation and drain relining. This may be necessary where there is a structural problem with the drain pipe itself.

Drain relining is a ‘no-dig’ option, this is a process by which we effectively create a new pipe within an old one, by lining the inside of the old drain with a special bond we are able to seal the hole or crack without replacing the whole section. The benefit of using this method is the ability to repair the drain with little or no surface disruption, as there is no need to remove the old drain

Where relining is not possible, 24-7 drains offer drain excavation. This is only carried out where relining is not possible as excavation can cause more surface disruption.

Our engineers will always carry out a CCTV survey first to establish which method is necessary to repair your pipe and the exact location of the structural issue if excavation is necessary so that we know we’re digging in the right place.

A common problem for many outdoor drains is root penetration from trees, this can cause leaks and in some circumstances could potentially cause subsidence to buildings. Using specialised cutting equipment inserted into the drain our engineers will cut through and remove roots to clear the blockage.
